Admission
Information:
Applications are invited in the prescribed form from the teachers of
universities and government colleges for UGC PhD and MPhil fellowships.
Eligibility:
-
Applicant must be a teacher holding permanent substantive position in
a public university/government college.

No part time
teacher will be considered.

Must have
enrollment in PhD/MPhil course in public universities.
-
If finally
selected by the UGC for the fellowship, applicants must be granted study
leave/deputation by the concerned authorities.

A PhD fellow shall
receive an allowance of Tk. 5,000 per month and an MPhill Tk. 4,000 per month.

Every fellow shall
be liable to refund the total amount received from UGC in case the applicant
prematurely discontinues his/her work without valid reason acceptable to the
UGC.
Eligibility:

Prescribed application forms may be obtained from the Scholarship and
Fellowship Section, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (3rd floor), Agargaon, Dhaka-1207 by Pay-Order/Bank Draft of Tk. 100 from any branch of
Janata Bank, shell be needed for obtained the application forms.

Applications must
be submitted through proper channel.

Incomplete
applications will be rejected.

Complete application
with necessary documents must be submitted to

March, 2008.
