Applications are invited in prescribed form to take 4-year course in BSc in Textile Technology in session 2008-09 from Textile Engineering College under Dhaka University. |

Seat Allocation:
- B.Sc in Textile Engineering (Yearn / Fabric / Weight Processing / Apparel Manufacturing)-180 Seat
- B.Sc in Textile Management-45 Seat
- Total Seat- 225 (Reserve seat- 1 for tribal and 2 (1 male & 1 female) for children of Freedom Fighters.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be Bangladeshi citizen.
- Students who passed the SSC (Science) or equivalent with GPA 4.0 (without 4th subject)
- Students who passed the HSC or equivalent in 2008/2009 with GPA 4.0 (without 4th subject), Average GPA 4.25 & Individually GP 3.50 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
- For GCE: Minimum B grade in at least five subjects in O-Level and minimum B in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in A-Level. Students with D grade in any subject need not apply.
General Information:
- The Prescribed Application form & prospectus will be collect from accounts section to deposit of Tk. 500/- cash.
- Application Form to be submitted in academic section.
- Total Marks- 200 (Math-60, Phy-60, Chem - 60, Eng- 20
- Merit List = Written Test Score + GPA of SSC (without 4th sub) x 8 + GPA of HSC (without 4th sub) x 12
Important Dates:
- Admission Form available: 04 Oct 2008 to 20 Oct 2009 (9am to 1pm)
- Last date of submission: within 20 Oct 2009
- Publication of eligible candidates for admission test: 31 Oct 2009 at College Notice Board.
- Admit Card distribution: 1 to 3 Nov 2000 (9am to 1pm)
- Admission Test: 20 Nov 2009 at 10am
- Result of Admission Test: 07 Dec 2009
Requirements in application:
- 04 copies passport size photo attested by Gazetted Officer.
- Attested academic Transcript of SSC and HSC or equivalent
- Incomplete application will be rejected.
