Applications are invited from Bangladeshi nationals for study under Commonwealth Scholarship in the United Kingdom-2010 |

Scholarship:
No Categories of Scholarship
a) One years taught masters courses or equivalent degrees
b) Six months of clinical training in Medicine or Dentistry
c) Doctoral degrees, of up to three years duration
d) One year research on a split-site basis, towards a Ph. D registered at a university in Bangladesh
Important Information:
- Applications are open for all subjects (must be linked to the development priorities of the country)
- Regarding subject of study, candidates should mention broad subject, the subject on which he/she has obtained first degree/terminal degree.
- A first degree of 1st class (GPA 3 out of 4 or GPA 4 out of 5) Honors level or a degree of 1st class (GPA 3 out of 4 or GPA 4 out of 5) and a relevant postgraduate degree.
- Candidate can apply for only one category.

Applicants Signature
- Applications should be submitted in typed (in above form). Additional papers can be attached for description of publications.
- Candidates for medicine or dentistry must show the year of passing of each part of MBBS/BDS, marks obtained, total and average marks in application form.
- Incomplete applications will be regarded as rejected.
- Only short listed candidates will be called for interview in due time.
- 1(one) set completed application as per above form should be submitted to “The Secretary, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Agargaon, Dhaka-1207 within due time.
a. Name of Scholarship and category of study will have to be mentioned on envelope.
b. Attested copies of certificates, marks sheets of examination,
c. passed mark sheets of TOEFL, IELTS,GMAT, GRE etc. examination ( if any) and
d. 1(one) copy of passport size attested photograph should be enclosed along with application.
- Self addressed envelope (approximate size 9.5" X 4.5") with stamps (of Tk. 5) should be enclosed with application.
